Hearts Swim Academy Programme

This is an advanced learn to swim programme by qualified coaches for ASA National Swim Awards levels 9 and 10 involving lane swimming in all 4 strokes plus sculling, diving, tumble turns, basic stretching exercises and relays.

The Swim Academy is based at the Royal High School, Barnton Avenue, Davidson’s Mains on a Wednesday evening 7 till 8 pm.

Swim badges achieved are included in the cost and are not necessarily completed every term, usually twice per year.

Refunds are given or an alternative venue advised in the event the pool is unavoidably closed.

Children are encouraged to wear swimming hats and goggles.
Boys should wear swimming trunks rather than baggy shorts
All children should bring a water bottle filled with either water or diluted juice – no fizzy drinks allowed!
